F A C T

Football Approaches to Cross-curricular Topics is designed for teachers who may be interested in using aspects of football to motivate children to learn.

The idea of including football and non football based modules in the web site is to offer maximum flexibility to anyone interested in using both to a greater or lesser degree.

Each module in both the Fact and Projects sections is a complete study unit in itself, containing all the relevant football and non football information together with ideas for follow up activities.

The table below is a guide to which Fact modules (links listed in the boxes) support which Projects modules (coloured headings)

The table shows that several Projects can relate to one FACT module or vice versa.

This means that football can be the main topic of the study with, for example, The Victorians a subsidiary or, the main event could be The Victorians with football being one aspect.
